The fact that this wasn't painfully obvious when you were actually watching the show boggles my mind. Preteen me was always highly bothered by it. Like even if you weren't a fan of his American-language movies enough to instantly hear it, Jackie did live action segments at the end of the cartoon, so it really called attention to the difference.

I wasn’t scolding, I was remarking with disbelief. It’s the same when rewatching any of his earlier Chinese-language movies where he’s dubbed to English by some other actor. His voice is so distinct that the difference is jarring.
