That pull is one of the big reasons for Disney to can him. They would save A LOT of money by killing him off.

What are you talking about? He has both box-office pull and the ability to pull quality people *to* the projects he's involved in. E.g, he's the one who brought Mark Ruffalo to the table to begin with. Why would Disney want to lose that?

(Anonymous) 2018-03-25 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
Because Disney has to pay him a shit ton more than anyone else. Also, Black Panther (and Thor 3) just proved that they don't need Iron Man in a movie.

"That pull is one of the big reasons for Disney to can him." That's not how these things work, you know. Are you drunk?

Yes it is? Disney canned Terrence Howard because he wanted more money. They didn't can RDJ because the money he made outweighed out much they had to pay him. But now they KNOW they can make crazy amounts of money without having to spend as much on RDJ. His box office draw isn't as important to them anymore.

I'm not sure money was the only reason they got rid of Terrence Howard, considering the things I've heard about the guy.

Terrence Howard was canned BEFORE Disney bought Marvel. Try again.
