My sister has strep throat so we are not doing anything this weekend. :( So we will be doing it next weekend (so will have to move the movie discussion).

Gah! Sorry. Mine was a mixed bag. Housemate is a worse housekeeper than me in some ways, which is saying something because I’m a hoarder. But of books and fabric and craft supplies, not, like, fast-food wrappers.

Housemate is not a hoarder, but their toilet and tub look like Cthulhu’s spawning ground and they have literally hid dirty dishes in boxes rather than wash them. Today a coworker that knows both of us delivered some furniture for her and I was mortified despite his not even seeing my apartment—it’s kind of a duplex setup. My half looks like a tornado went through a combined fabric and bookstore and hung cobwebs from everything. Hers is—well, I did a pile of dishes for her at Halloween and her sink is full of coffee-colored water that looks like she hasn’t drained it since then.

On the bright side, I have everything I need to fix my busted shower—I forgot the teflon sealant tape yesterday.

Ouch. I was in and out of hospital with a persistent recurring Bartholin's a few years ago. They suck, majorly. :( Are you getting treatment for it?

I worked for the afternoon and got properly shouted at by an old man for saying "no worries" while serving him. Like he went into a massive rant about how it's a stupid saying and I should know better and to never say it to him again. It was weird.

Lol, I think I might have to. It's funny because in my town there's been a a lot of talk about how the "young students" are taking over the place (we're getting a load of new student accomodation) and they're so "impolite/bad-mannered" etc, but nine times out of ten when I get screamed at by someone at work, it's an older person. Because we've run out of their favourite racist, scare-mongering newspaper, or because chocolate costs more than it used to.

It really was. At first I thought he was doing it in a jokey, "oh you silly kids and your weird lingo" kind of way so I laughed, but he was genuinely angry and just kept going on and on.

I've had bartholin cysts before. My sympathies! But mine were soooooo satisfying when they finally burst, omg. Hope you feel better soon, nonny.

Aaaaaawwwwwwwgggggghhhh! You have my sympathies. I hate it when I get little superficial clogs or tiny closed off pimples on the insides of my labia and I have to squeeze them to get the guck out. >:( :( Just one downside of having a vagina.
