That's some interesting logic you're using there. There's an awful lot of room between "I like Angelina Jolie" and "I place all blame on Angelina Jolie for Brad Pitt being a cheating ass."

Obviously, he's more at fault than she was for the affair. Only one of them was breaking wedding vows, and it weren't her. On the other hand, it's not exactly hard to not date married people, you know? She was old enough and famous enough at the time of the affair to accept her share of the responsibility. Also, she's a decent actress who has been in some good movies and even more bad ones, she's a mediocre director and a she's terrible screenwriter. There's more than enough not to like her for that's strictly professional.

Exactly. She could have just as easily not hooked up with him. She had agency in that situation, too. She wasn't an idiot or a child, she knew what she was doing when she accepted Brad's advances and what those meant. Thinking she had no blame in the situation is just as stupid as thinking she didn't do anything wrong.

Not to mention, patterns do show who you are. Like how Brad constantly does interviews with jabs aimed at his ex-wives and how they made him 'sad' showed he was a dick far before he proved it with his shitty parenting; Angelina's being with BBT, Brad and Ethan Hawke when they were married demonstrates that she isn't maybe the champion of women she'd like to be seen as.
