So, I've finally got a fax number, which means I can register as a court appointed attorney and as an attorney ad litem. Also, there is a possiblity of a paralegal job for a few months working 15-20 hours a week.

So, no full time job yet. But looks like I'll be getting more work and a bit more money.

This week stupidly sucks. The factories that make out product are out for their week long vacation so we have NOTHING to do at work. But...I have to somehow find something to do slowly so my boss's boss doesn't get pissy. It is so hard to look busy when you have nothing to do. But I found out you can DL Netflix movies so I have secretly watching those.

That would be the time when I go on an organizing binge and do all the office chores no one has time for because it's too busy or the task isn't billable.

There is nothing to organize. The nature of our work means everyone organizes as they go. :( I even cleaned out my email today I was so bored.

about the only good thing about being on disability is not having to do any job hunting.

I wish I could get disability. My application was declined.

*Denied.

Try again. When you get denied, appeal. Get a disability lawyer and go before a judge. Most of the people who apply are denied the first time.

I keep getting called in to cover at the moment and it's getting annoying. I usually say yes because I need the cash but nearly everyone has been doing it lately. I don't mind if someone's ill but it's for dumb reasons like someone misread the rota or just "didn't feel like coming in." >:(

I have this week off. But I really have to pick up the pace at work and start working harder. I didn't get an official warning or anything, but my boss made it clear what he expects and what he expects is only fair. Maybe next week I'll go in refreshed. I can hope.

Well, one of the women in my department put in her 2-week notice today, as she wants to try to have a baby (she has had several miscarriages and her doctor has advised her to get bed rest the second she finds out she's pregnant, instead of continuing to work). And another woman in my department just stopped showing up for work last week. So now there's just 3 of us in the department. Maybe I can get more hours, I could use a few more.

I have been trying to get a job for a while. I signed up for help from my local vocational rehabilitation office in October of 2016. Seventeen months later and I am still unemployed.

I finally got enough Amazon credit from taking online surveys to buy some twisting balloons. I asked the manager at a local home style country buffet (BBQ, fried chicken, and fried fish) if I could make balloon animals. The owners said they would let me set up Friday night for a test. I was there for five hours and made $68 in tips. They called and said to come back Saturday night from 5-9pm and I made $97. They called me to come in when they opened on Sunday. I was there from 11am to 6pm and made $137.
