109: If you mean Captain Jack the character, he's supposed to have that effect on everybody, plus he's fictional, so I wouldn't worry about it. If you mean John Barrowman in the role of Captain Jack, then Kinsey 5 is not a bad place to be, and you can identify it as bi or gay as you see fit.
114: Freudian WTF!?! Also, I think your definition of 'subtext' is different from mine.
117: Speaking as someone who still ships Four/Sarah Jane, IAWTS. The Who-fandom has room for many, many ships, and no ship at all. Everybody take a deep breath and learn to get along. Your shipwars make One cry.
122: Someone else beat me to it, but have you considered a tattoo?
123: Speaking as someone who enjoys both a deep intellectual discussion complete with references to Joseph Campbell and Marshall McLuhan *and* a bout of squeeing, I suspect you're just looking in the wrong places. The former is, IME, more common in face-to-face fandom. Have you tried going to your local SF/Fantasy conventions and going to the more literary panel discussions?
