Pulled something in my hip last night. Developed a migraine in the late afternoon. So not particularly great. Currently have a heating pad on my hip and an ice pack on my head. So the temperatures cancel each other out. I was supposed to do grocery shopping, but I had to come home because of pain and aura.

On the other hand, I've got a slice of pie in front of me. Pie is the best. So that's nice.

Boring. Our manufacturing plants are closed so most of the work we do is not need this week. Tomorrow is going to be the same BUT my boss won't be home so I am going to watch movies all day.

Not bad. Today is day 2 of a 3-days-off-from-work period for me and I'm enjoying it. The weather's been great, it was 83 and sunny here today. Went for a walk this morning but my right calf was super tight and I wasn't really feeling it, so I walked 2 miles rather than 3. Came home and showered and dressed, then I went to the grocery store, Target, and Starbucks. I just had dinner (rotisserie chicken I got at the store), and I'm getting ready to watch a movie. Gonna get to bed early tonight and tomorrow I'm going to put some money down on a layaway, and get a bubble tea, and maybe see if Macy's has the body lotion I like in stock.

I am getting ready for Passover and I am really behind schedule in terms of what I need to do but I'm trying to rest right now and then get back to it.

Had to leave work at noon to go to a vet appointment in the early afternoon and then work from home the rest of the afternoon, since there wasn't much point in driving back to work, but there's some major stuff going on right now and I needed to stay on top of that. The vet visit went well, at least.

I made skillet lasagna for dinner. It's my new favorite thing.

A busy day, but not a bad one. I'm going to go try to run an errand and fit in a visit to the gym.

Pretty much just work and fretting over my dad who's put his back out somehow. Last update I got from him was basically "I'M FINE, stop worrying, I can't quite manage to put my socks on but I'm totally good." He'll never go doctors unless he's dragged there kicking and screaming. :(

I'm on a job rn and it's flooding so I'm hanging out in my hotel room enjoying the third floor view of a very soggy city. It's not too crazy yet but we've already got idk five inches of rain or something. My gf's mom called me earlier to make sure I'm alright, which is just so goddamn sweet and unexpected that I can't contain all my feels over it.

Other than that, I'm good. I'm enjoying having a day off. I've been working 12+ hour days for the past five weeks straight and I hve another week-ish to go before I'll get a break and I'm so FUCKING tired at this point. But I'm good.
