She’s an assassin who specializes in seducing and killing men. She spends a lot of time playing a character who’s stupid, shallow, and oversexualized, both because that draws in her targets and makes them underestimate her, and because on some level, she seems to enjoy pretending that she’s weak and helpless. It’s clear early on that she’s a canny operator, but it takes a while for her to open up enough that you can really evaluate what kind of person she is and why she acts this way,

Don't most female spy/assassin characters in fiction usually operate in similar stereotypes?
The cunning seductress who lures in her targets and kills them by first playing dumb?
It's not that I think some feminists wouldn't like this character, I just don't know what this type of character brings into the conversation that's new.
