I love Kylo and I love Rose. I sort of understand why people hate Kylo (because people are only too happy to explain it) but hating Rose just makes no sense.

Rose is hated because she was part of an "unnecessary" plotline. Or because she gets in the way of a popular slash ship. Or, if she's getting in the way of someone's favorite het ship, she's anti-black (because she tazed Finn).

It was "unnecessary" but it was still kind of fun, to me at least.

I guess this is one of those things I don't get because I'm more of a multi-shipper plus I don't even let canon get in the way of my ships, let alone rival non-canon ships.
