Anyone still playing? They just added Field Research quests. So hopefully us rural players can actually do shit!

Yeah, I am! And I want a Mew sooo badly. I completed a few quests on my walk home. I'm really hoping none of them involve gyms or battling Legendaries, because I have no one to do that with me and I am so hopeful the research quests are something solo players can do.

I'm a big-city player but I'm honestly thrilled that they're adding in things to make the game more playable for non-city players. I've always thought that it wasn't fair at all that Legendaries were only available to people who could coordinate groups large enough to take them down, and I say this as someone who has every Legendary but Kyogre and Rayquaza (work kicked my ass and made me too busy/tired to go raid for those). You shouldn't be screwed over if you don't live in the middle of a big city.

I did the first Special Field Research thing. Hopefully none of them require groups. I can do gym battles if it is the shitty low level ones.

I stopped playing when an update blocked the app from jailbroken phones. I really liked the game, but I refuse to let it dictate how I use my phone.
