Based on 6

Does how evil or good a CHARACTER act affect how hot you find them?

Re: Based on 6

Not exactly, but how determined or strong their convictions are in either direction might.

Someone who's valiantly heroic in the face of opposition or determined to wreak vengeance despite the immorality of it are both more interesting than someone who is thoughtlessly good or evil.

If you're evil, you're not hot. You can be mean sometimes but you gotta have a heart of gold or a grey morality at worst.

If someone is really good, it increases their attractiveness for me. But them being evil does not decrease their attraciveness. Especially if I am just looking at their body. Like, Ramsey Bolton is a monster with a meh face but I am appreciative of his shirtless scenes.

Evil characters remind me too much of my abuser, totally killing my libido. Hell, even jerks with a heart of gold have to be really, really charming for me to have the least interest in them.

I feel you on this. The shittier a character is as a person, the less attractive they are for me. I’m too strict on my own moral code that a character being an ass or evil or whatever is an immediate turn off. I just can’t find people who do shitty things attractive. It hits too close.

And I agree about jerks with hearts of gold. They have to reeeeeeally try for me to find them hot. Most jerks IRL who have “hearts of gold,” are still generally fucking unpleasant to be around.

For me it depends on the ways in which they are evil or good. "Disgusting, slimy evil" and "supercilious, holier-than-thou good" are total turn-offs for me.

How good/evil a character is doesn't really factor in. Their specific motivations and the way in which they express how good/evil they are does, though.

Two evil characters can make a very interesting ship.

The evil characters are almost always hotter to me than the good ones, even when they're physically revolting. It's an attitude/power/dominance thing. It doesn't work for me in real life, but in make-believe? Sign me the fuck up!

Same here.

Yep, absolutely. Mustache-twirling evil is never attractive to me, and I only get the hots for villains who either do evil things in pursuit of a good or noble goal, or if their aims are selfish, have a very strong moral code they won’t deviate from and aren’t hypocrites about, and who feel guilt for at least some of their actions. I’m not always the biggest fan of uncomplicated “my way is the right way and evil must be punished” heroes, either, though.

It depends on what kind/level of evil and it also depends on the villain's motive/backstory/origin story.

Not per say. But I do tend to be attracted to villains. Not because they are evil. Not into all villains, and into some heroes. But because their type hits my kinks. Villains are really hot to me.

No, it's their face.

Yes. I'm not huge on villains. So if they're an asshole, I probably won't like them, no matter how hot people find them to be. Morally grey I'm fine with though.

There is a scale of hotness to evilness that is a line up that suddenly dips at the end - the "too evil to be hot" valley

The good... as long as it's not a weak ads nice guy good, I'll find the character hot (really hot if they're super honorable, truly believe in goodness, or are lowkey/secret good. Bonus points for rogue with a heart of gold)
The bad...generally, as long as you're not hurting children, raping people, hurting animals, I'm likely to find the character hot (I tend to like villains). But it's somewhat circumstantial.

I like characters who have conviction in what they do, whether that be saving lives or murder and mayhem. An attractive, gleefully evil character is totally hot.
