You seem to be conflating molestation with pedophilia. Pedophilia simply means having a sexual attraction to children, which you can very well have without targeting or harming actual children. You know nothing about that author other than that they sat down and wrote several works about kids getting raped. It's not an unfair assessment to say that author may be harboring some child lust.

All I've basically been trying to argue is that that shit is creepy and that if I found out someone close to me was writing fiction about real life children, without even having the courtesy to at least age them up, I'd be skeeved out by them. I don't see how that's unreasonable. I don't see how you could not find that weird or disconcerting. Nobody has told you that you can't find it creepy or be skeeved out or choose not to interact with those people. We're just telling you that underage fic in general is not in itself inherent proof of pedophilia and that there are reasons for writing it beyond the author being attracted to children. Please consider the CSA survivors who write and read underage fic for catharsis, who you have called pedophiles in this thread, who you have insisted only write that kind of thing because they have "child lust" - why is that okay for you to do? People have agreed with you that RPF involving real children is not a good thing or appropriate. People have said that they do, actually, find it uncomfortable and dislike it! The disagreement is to do with other underage fic and whether any kind of underage fic automatically makes someone a pedophile, not that writing RPF about child actors getting raped by costars is totally tasteful and should be plastered over the internet. You keep accusing people of taking positions they have never taken.
