On the one hand, this is a fascist dictator’s justification for crushing anything that doesn’t have a “use.”

On the other hand, this is still healthier than that anon who adopted “conceal, don’t feel, don’t let it show.”

Eh, depends on how it was adopted. If the plan is to bottle everything up until it erupts in ice spikes and never-ending winter, then that never works. But there’s a time and a place to “let it show,” and if Elsa helps someone keep their cool until they have an appropriate venue for venting, then good for them. Too few people have any coping skills for me to begrudge anyone theirs.

I feel like the whole genre of "getting much-needed inspiration from in-universe dubious sources" is a prime example of "the perfect is the enemy of the good"

sometimes a perfectly healthy motivational balance is just not happening, and you need something to keep you going and doing what you need to do until you're in a better place to look at those attidudes

otoh sometimes bright colors and a catchy melody will help something stick in your head, and the unhealthy bandaid-ness of it might not be a factor at all

either way, I'm glad you have a thing that's helping you, and I'm sure the crewniverse would be too!
