Got a new tattoo! Small bird on the inside of my wrist. I'm thrilled!

What kind of bird? Color ink? Yay! Stencil type of tatto? Bestiary drawing?

Nothing much. Tomorrow is going to be super busy at work but today was relaxed.

A lot of sleeping, a little bit of art and one angry nap where no actual sleep was done because I was busy steaming about attempts to contact me from someone I explicitly told not to contact me. So all in all kinda bleuggh day.

Hopefully tonight will be better or at least more productive.

and now I'm singing along to all the Pokemon theme songs while doing some art I'm really proud of!

I went to work, went to the library, voted, and bought a cantaloupe.

Made pudding, worked with some polymer clay...watched Scoobynatural for a third time.

Me and my partner are getting a new bed delivered tomorrow, so I spent the afternoon wriggling around under our current one clearing out all the crap we don't need. Found another 50-60 unopened New Scientist magazines that he insists he's totally going to read someday, but will probably end up in the attic tomorrow. With the others. :)

I laid in bed, hot and annoyed while they drilled in order to fix our water main that broke yesterday, but somehow they couldn't come until this morning. Then went to the doctor, then got an x-ray, then back to the doctor. Diagnosed with hip bursitis. Went to pharmacy to pick up meds. Then went to my Toastmasters meeting. Now back home and laying in bed, wishing my doctor had given me something other than naproxen and a steroid.

I started driving at about 4am and drove for about a million hours to go pick up my gf, and then we took turns driving to our next job site. We got here about an hour ago. So like, 20 hours of driving. Which sucked but this is also SUPER EXCITING bc we're both going to be working at the same place for the first time since we started dating.

The hotel we're at is so small and quaint it's practically a fuckin' B&B, and it's run by this lady who's like 115 years old. We got some pancakes from IHOP and ate them in the cutesy little dining nook in our room and it was all so goddamn domestic that I'm just dying from feels.
