I'm all in for politics driven space opera. ...presuming it doesn't revolve around space opera romance... BUT. If it doesn't I'm on it like flies on shit!

I'm waiting for my dream genre-smash. Post-apocalypse space opera.

There's lots of loud noise and character driven drama and people are dying a lot. Sounds like opera to me.

Used to be some actors but I've been burned too many times so not anyomre.

Books: Urban fantasy that isn't vampires.
Movies: Marvel movies.

When I was younger I would watch each and every movie that a certain local critic recommended, because his tastes and mine seemed to match perfectly.

Yes! Sometimes you just find a film-loving soulmate. Mine was the old dude who owned the video rental place in my town. He got so many arty foreign movies and I think we were the only people who watched them.
