I'm excited but also dreading it because I know this season's plot will hinge on how good the main girl's acting is and I just didn't find her believable in the first season.

I liked his interactions with the hosts more than the character himself, so as long as that level of development continues I think it will be fine.

Hell fucking yes. That cover of "Heart-Shaped Box" from the final trailer was like it was made specifically for me.

As for the plot, I'm kind of preparing for a balls-to-the-wall trainwreck, but I'm pretty easily entertained so it could be fun. I'll miss the slow-burn from last season, though.

SA - Any in particular that the show sold you on? All the covers I can think of were songs I already enjoyed. (That was fun in the first season - I'd be listening to the background music like, "Is that... no, I don't think - OH, it is that song!")

I love Ramin Djawadi!

And I kinda agree. I loved the first season while watching it, but now I can barely remember anything. This show/concept also has the potential to fall apart quickly.

The music for this and for GoT has sold me on the idea that Ramin Djawadi needs to be the one to fill the inevitable John Williams-shaped hole in movie composing.
