132 - For me, it's not an issue about potentially being traumatized by any subject, it's the plain fact that certain things just plain don't interest me, or I find ridiculous - or both - and I'd hate to waste my time. I'm jut as likely to be annoyed with unwarned ships that I can't stand, as (i.e) bondage (although, yawn).

Have you ever been in certain moods to read (or not read) specific genres? Some of us in fandom don't have 24 hours a day to spend screening stories for subjects that interest/bother/bore us.

"Relatively harmless" somehow doesn't add up to wanting to have a threesome with a celebrity and her husband.

Come on. Ruined the life? I think that's overstating things a bit, don't you? And if she's that fragile that this would ruin her life, then she has no business trying to hook up with them in the first place, since the possible rejection would be as devastating.

Meh. See, a real psychotic fan would be all "I KNOW THEY WANT TO MAKE THE SECKS WITH MEEE!" rather than "I wonder what would happen if I hit on them both?"

And well, I said "potentially" ruin her life, because I have no idea how Alyson & Co would react to this little development even if the tattler didn't report it to her family. But add into the mix a Yenta family member and Alyson's attorney and most likely the husband's attorney and it will probably be blown way out of proportion.

And seriously, I doubt the couple lacks experience with over exuberant fans. I mean, then again, I'm part of the SPN fandom (remember when some crazy woman knocked Jensen over at a con?) and Dr Who, ("Mr Tennant, would you mind if we read you some DOCTOR/MARTHA PORN on TV?!") and this fan seems awfully tame in comparison :)

I never said she was psychotic. And I highly doubt Alyson & Co are planning to go to their lawyers. All the OP ever said was that she saw them grocery shopping and wanted to flirt with them.

I think the most that's going to come out of this is that the OP is going to suffer from the embarrassment of having her secret sent to Alyson. Which sucks, but is the risk she took when she posted in the first place.

I think the problem is that I'm assuming the cousin's intent is to 'out' the secret poster because she's concerned for the well-being of a family member, and now that I've re-read the current secret, I'm no longer so sure.

Does that make sense?

I hope for everyone involved that Alyson & hubby plan to switch to a different grocery store. D:

There's nothing to report to any attorneys. As you say, they're hardly likely to lack experience with even the crazier kind of fan. The most effect it would have would be they might change their shopping habits.

Ruined her life? Seriously? The most the original secret-poster is going to get out of this is some shame and a decided lack of Alyson and Alexis in her life when they start grocery shopping somewhere else. Where's the ruination in that?

Well, a few threads up I already touched upon why this may prove sucktastic (for her wallet, anyway) to the pervy fangirl.

Again, I'm not sure I was spot on when I assumed that the cousin's intent was to try to warn Alyson about fangirl craziness or simply to cause awkwardness and have a good laugh.

Whatever the purpose, it looks like readers are interpreting it either way.
