I think the really vital thing to me that not a lot of people know is the band in question is a shitty tossed together myspace band made of Scene Queens. ANYONE who idolizes Scene Queens is off my flist in a hot second. But again, that's personal taste. I don't have to be around it because I hate it.

You're right. You don't have to be around it if you don't like it. But if your friendship is completely based on music alone... Possibly it's not much of a friendship.
