my best friend: Because they might want a 3way?

me: Because somebody may have written to their mother saying, "you have a stalker at the xxx safeway," and they will think it's me! I mean not really, but this is an anonymous secret, so it is mostly likely just to make Alyson paranoid about anyone who smiles at her husband at the grocery store! Some COMPLETELY INNOCENT person who shops at the Santa Monica safeway could get a really bad surprise!

my best friend: Seriously.

me: "Stop staring at my husband, you freak! I do not want to have a 3-way with you! I saw what you posted on the internet! My mom showed me!"

me: "...lady...who are you? I don't even know you...he just helped me find some lunch meat I was looking for...hey, WERE YOU ON BUFFY?"

my best friend: LOL I can so see it.

Also, I am totally LoLing at the idea that anyone who read this comment could get out of it the concept that I thought telling Alyson's family was a good idea. Considering that the whole point of this comment is that telling someone that someone else they can't identify is stalking them will only make them paranoid and suspicious of people who may not have anything to do with the situation...

Thanks! Fortunately I live in the wrong end of California so I probably am safe smiling at random Safeway shoppers...but it never hurts to be careful ;-)
