anyway imo music is a huge part of my life so to know people whose tastes differ from mine is bothersome. i'm the lead singer in a Heart tribute band and to know my "friends" won't come because they don't like that type of music is disheartening. that's why i look for people who like the same music as i do.
...does that make sense at all? idk how to explain it really...

That makes sense, I can certainly understand feeling disheartened because your friends don't want to see it. Still... It just seems a bit trivial to me.
I guess I need someone to explain to me more.
