One final thing, though - I hate, hate, HATE deathfic warnings. I don't want to know that a character is going to die! Shock me, please. It's practically a spoiler. :/

Oh GOD, I know! It's like... ugh, I'm being pulled in two equally important directions. Because really, I used to be on the 'don't warn for deathfic' camp and then I read that story and I really didn't need to have the ability to call up that sadness and remorse for reading it whenever I wanted to, you know? I am extra sensitive as it is, and I don't think I'll ever forget what reading that reveal felt like. *facepalm* it's a lose/lose, because I don't want to be spoiled, but nor do I want to end up emotionally invested in something that goes sideways, not when it's not canon. So I'm a walking contradiction!

It's so wonderful, I can't rec it enough, it's just for me, the combo of it being deathfic and the way the story went was a one-two punch that I can't get out of my head.
