149. I don't see anything wrong with this. :> I suck at first person shooters, or did for a LONG LONG TIME, and I grew up on watching my dad play Castle Wolfenstein/Doom/Quake/Half Life/etc. Watching games is awesome~

Not sure I agree on your point about Simon would have "burned the world" if Nia wanted- Simon was always a good person, and he never would have gone for that- but you do bring up why I feel Simon leaving at the end wasn't the healthy, grand ending that everyone seems to think it is. It was a breakdown of sorts, just like he had after Kamina died- he put so much of himself into one person that he almost couldn't move on, falling apart the first time, and the second time believing he had learned- but leaving behind all of the people he cared for and who cared for him, rather than moving on with the life he had and staying strong. I don't feel it was growing up, and I feel bad for him... I think he was almost as bad emotionally and psychologically as after Kamina's death, just ostracizing himself and deciding he had to be alone forever after that, instead of sobbing and being fully unable to cope. Not healthy, either way.

XD That said, I have read a few dozen issues of the comics, seen a few episodes of the original cartoon, seen the first two seasons of X-Evo, and seen the first two movies. AND YET I KNOW WAY MORE ABOUT THE CHARACTERS THAN I SHOULD. EVER. AT ALL. Lol Nightcrawler's whole backstory no I was never a fangirl honest why don't you believe me.

not!secret #1: ... Hooray for the fact that there are fans of both games? N-not everyone's gotta agree, you know. I feel like I'm having to say this a lot, sigh.
too!big #1: See, you swerved back and forth allllll over in this secret between getting a "that's cool, that's perfectly valid, I see where you're coming from!" reaction, and a "great, someone else who thinks their way is the only way to do things and fandom is a great excuse to lose respect for real people" one.
For the record, I have a lot of pairings that I prefer over other ones. I do ship everyone/everyone, I'd love fics with pairings that never, ever get done (Squalo/Gokudera for the lulz?). But RyoHiba, YamaGoku, BelGoku, SqualoYama, LussRyo, ReboLal, and ColoViper (oops I've outed myself) are ones I'll actually actively seek out all the time (okay, maybe YamaGoku not as much, since there's a FUCKTON of it and it gets old after a while XD), as well as certain OT3s and OT-mores. Prefering pairings or even only liking certain ones is fine, but god dammit, when you start losing respect over how people like to enjoy themselves when it comes to pairing up fictional chraracters in a fictional story, that's pretty sad. Please, please check yourself before it gets bad, because you seem otherwise cool. D:
