The brain's a funny thing. I don't like RPF either and I've never read it, but every now and them, I get plot bunnies for RPF and it feels really weird and wrong. I just end up writing them down to get them out of my head and hide them in a shame folder.

Hahaha funny that, I was actually inspired by that thread too so I went and wrote a horror hanahaki fic for... This... RPF fandom... *cough*

Honestly, if it makes you feel uncomfortable you shouldn't do it, but if you want to get it out of your system you could write it about the characters they play in music videos, so it's not rpf it's characters with their name.
