high fives you over finding Beauty and the Beast and Mamma Mia overrated. I couldn't even stand Abba when they were popular.

Tbh, my problem with Mamma Mia isn't the music, but the fact that someone on board there didn't realise what works on stage is not necessarily what works on film. There's so much about that film that's either cringeworthy, or simply weird, and I can see how it'd be great on stage, but... no. NO.

Also, what the hell posessed them to cast people who couldn't even sing.

Word! I loved the stage version of Mamma Mia so much, and I hated the film version so much.

And Les Miserables had the same problem - why are you casting people who can't sing??
