I enjoyed these two as a ship but I was also a fan of Sheppard/Teyla and thought the show was going down that route at some-point, but alas it did not. (I wonder if maybe it would have if Teyla didn't have the surprise!pregnancy plot, or maybe even Sheppard/Elizabeth because I could see some tension there too. But again, the show did not allow for it).

I also like the idea of Sheppard/Ronan as well, because they had a really fun dynamic too.

I can understand being confused by people shipping something outside of your OTP, but in the end everyone's got different tastes. So long as you don't go around being rude about it, snarky confusion in your own head is fine I think.

I love Sheppard/Teyla. She deserves to be cherished and he absolutely loves her so much.

He really does. I like it as the friendship it stayed as in the show, but I also ship the hell out of it too. If they'd been canon I'd have loved it but it was not meant to be.
