I wish I could travel more often. I saved for a couple of years to visit Amsterdam and tried really hard to coordinate with a friend who wanted to go, but then she changed her mind because she wanted to start a family, so I went alone. It wasn't too bad, but I really wish she'd gone with me.

Same anon as above: I actually have the money for an awesome vacation right now, cause I saved up but... I can't seem to coordinate with the person I want to got with. We wanted to go to Venice (I know it's super cliché, but it's on my "places I want to see before I die" list) It's making me sad. :(

Aw, that really sucks, nonny. I hope you can make it to Venice soon! Is it your guys' work schedules that's making coordinating difficult or something else?

Yes, it's the work schedules.
Like I said, we have to choose all the free time we want to have for the next year in autumn/winter. And even if we coordinate that, then our employers both have to approve those days.
Plus, we're in different parts of the country so spontaneously coordinating is even harder.
