I actually developed a huge aversion to this pairing at least partly because the fandom was so oversaturated and obsessed with it (the other part was me not liking Sheppard all that much). Which was a shame, because SGA had some great and crazy AU ideas and things like that, but it felt like it was all McShep and very little else. I think this fandom was where I started getting wary and fed up of juggernaut pairings, actually.

The pairings I wished there was so much more of in the fandom were Rodney/Radek, Rodney/Ronon and Ronon/Teyla.

Rodney/Ronan was the most amazing thing. I think there were like 3 fics, and I loved each of them.
