152. Yeah, me too. It all felt like an attempt to placate rabid fanthings. You can't make everyone happy, so why not at least NOT HAVE STUPID ENDINGS? Well, the Donna ending I hate but can live with, but the Rose thing...fuck. I pretend the series stopped somewhere mid-series 2 in her case. It's the only way I can still love it.

160. Can I just say that I'm still really, really sad that he's dead? I mean, it's not like I knew the guy, but it makes me really sad still.

164. Me too, dude, me too. Hell, I'd kill for a friendship like they had, it doesn't even have to have the romantical aspect. (I thought I'd found her. Not so much, it turns out.) Didn't they make them canon at the end? I could swear I heard that Gabrielle finally admitted to being in love with her, but I bailed on the show when the whole Eve/Livia thing became ridiculously stupid. I mean, you have to suspend reality like whoa for the show, but that was just too much even for me.

I'm happy I reached both my opinions through outside research.

It felt silly when I realized I could trace my discovery of cetacean slaughter and subsequent opposition to it on grounds that some cetaceans are really friggin smart back to research for Ecco the Dolphin fanworks.

Then I realized that even though I love Spirit to death I'm still okay with eating just about everything else (beyond other probably-sapient or near-sapient animals like the great apes, elephants, and certain parrots) and didn't feel quite so silly.

i can understand the whole horse thing like i've been reading the little discussions you guys have been having and yeah the secret confused me so i might not be figuring this right

but um so it's a-okay to kill things that aren't sapient but killing things that are sapient is wrong? i mean i know there's more reasons than that but that's kind of idk weird to me, like what measure is a non human (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/WhatMeasureIsANonHuman) kinda, might be me being weird though heh. sorry if i don't know what i'm talking about

Well, the fact that we're sapient is the reason I don't eat other humans... not even the non-sapient members of the the species. That spark of intelligence that we - and probably several other Earthling species - have is worth a lot and should not in my opinion be taken from the world lightly.

On the other hand I also fight for humane slaughtering practices of sentient beings. Just because a cattlebeast is destined for my tummy doesn't mean it doesn't deserve a little dignity in life as well as death.

Haha, thank you. I just don't like boredom! If you're ever in the Moonee Valley area, feel free to come over to the library - we can go hang out in front of 791 (that's the tv/movies section of books). Oh, the Dewey Decimal System! What would life be without it?

Ever since Doomsday I'd been waiting for Rose to come back and get her answer and go off to the parallel universe where I knew she would stay, but creating another Doctor just for her to be happy was the wankiest thing they could have done. D< And so now I pretend that Doomsday was her final story.

And I just don't think about Donna's end. I fell in love with her character and I can't let her go. *shrugs*
