Well, yes. Although I'm pretty convinced that Rose, even while getting "more than the other companions" did at the end of her story has a really happy ending. I think the concept of sticking her with a PseudoDoc is sort of grim, in a way. It's sort of a sick joke, no? "Well, since you want him so bad, you can have him...well, the ruthless, almost middle-aged, imperfect one. Bwahahha!"

I have to hand it to Rusty, I can't quite tell if he meant for this ending to be ironic, or if he really thought that his beloved character is getting the great gift that she deserves for being his sue his favorite character.
