Same, OP, except for the shipping part. I don't care about the shipping; I'm just here for all the team family feels, and for Sara. But I've given up on Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl.

I am watching Black Lightning, but I don't really consider that one part of the Arrowverse right now.

I didn't realize Black Lightning was in the same universe.

I've been watching that and I started watching LoT too. I just started season 2. I'll pick up random episodes of Arrow when someone I like guest-stars too, lol. I watched for Constantine and one episode for JR Bourne too.

It's not, at the moment. They haven't completely ruled crossovers at some future point, but for now it's not connected to the main Arrowverse.

had a friend who loved it for these reasons and I tried so hard to watch with her

but it was just too dumb to bear

but if people enjoy it, good for them I guess.

I still like The Flash, and I've been enjoying Black Lightning a lot too, but yeah Legends is just kind of easy-going fun that's enjoyable for me to unwind to. :)

I've seen the weird blue furby thing. That's all I know about the show

I agree! (Though Flash is still holding on by a thread.) But this show is just So Much Fun and ridiculous and awesome and all of that.

And I firmly believe the Writers Room has been saying:
Season 1: "Have we got a show for you! Time travel! Space ship! Awesome villain! Ragtag band of misfit heroes!"
Season 2: "Course correct! Course correct!"
Season 3: "Screw it! Let's have fun!"

I'm always happy to discuss and fangirl over the show!

Same!

Exact same for me! Dumped Arrow, dumped Supergirl after the Sanvers breakup, still holding onto Flash, but LOVE Legends :)

Me too, OP. I watch Flash and Arrow at this point mostly out of habit. Arrow has had its worst season this year and I'm a little sick of Flash because all Barry and Iris do is vomit love on each other. But I actually like all the characters in LoT. There's none I want to get the hell off my screen like in Arrow or think they're not used to their full potential like in Flash.

I don't care at all about shipping though. The romances are written solidly enough but I admit I thought Sara's almost romance with Snart was more interesting than her actual relationship with Ava.

Yeah I'm finding the Sara/Ava romance to be rather boring. Snart, Rip, Nyssa....any of those would have been more interesting to me.

I *want* to keep watching the Flash, but every episode I’ve tried to watch of this season has made me yell at the screen. It’s all about Barry and Iris being gooey at each other. Very much at the expense of the plot and the development of all the other characters. Argh. (My other personal pet peeve - and unpopular opinion - is that the show is suffering greatly for all the other supporting characters getting sidelined or nerfed in order for Iris to be the saviour of every day. ARGH.)

I never got a chance to watch LoT as regularly as I’d have liked, but I’ve generally enjoyed any episode I did see! Time-travelling hijinx that don’t take themselves too seriously and all sorts of over the top characters? Yes please. :)
