So recently my cousin has become obsessed with shipping a straight woman character with an out gay male character and she's convinced the show is going to make him realize he's actually bi and get them together. I'm mostly sure no show would ever actually do that because of the backlash they'd get, if nothing else, but given the way the country is right now, I almost wouldn't be surprised if they did.

Surely that will never happen, right?

Hard to say without knowing the show, but it's unlikely a show would tackle that plot unless it was the entire concept of the show.
