When I see a fic have DEAN WINCHESTER do this, I die laughing.

It gets worse. I’ve heard Tony Stark referred to as demisexual.

I've read a fic where Steve Rogers (not even like modern!AU Steve) called himself demisexual. I backbuttoned.

I read a fic a few days ago where Tony Stark spent the entire thing talking about the sexuality and relationships of the team. Most of them were either Demisexual, Pansexual, Asexual, Aromantic... and Tony himself has to explain what they all meant, to the press. It was so painful.

It was on Ao3, and two of the pairings were Coulson/Clint and Steve/Bucky if anyone would like to share in the pain.

Ouch.

Even if for some reason they decided to explain all that to the press, I doubt Tony would take the time to do it himself. Make the PR department release a statement, at best.

Gods, the mere thought of Tony Stark trying to explain the mess surrounding pansexuality fills me with cringe.

"So ... who thinks we should attack as they have too much time?" asked Villain Number 999

I reallllyyy don't mind some humorous insert with 'explain 21st Earthian wooing' thing unless it's very overdone but ...

Why is there so many of those tone deaf weird bits!? Hopefully just unpracticed writers.

I remembered fics where:

1. Psychologist, Steve, Natasha and Sam kept explaining the above again and again to Bucky who realised he has no gender (fair enough if it did not feel co-erced)

2. Someone explaining to Natasha she can have a different gender which apparently never occurred to her and she decided on ... a spider.

3. Everyone and their grandmothers, puppies and pet aliens being surprised at Loki having various bits every other paragraph and explaining it in length.

So on and so forth.

I - think I remember that one? Because it came up in a rp group to be groaned over. If I remember right all the guys were sexually involved with someone but Natasha was sex repulsed and even though she was in a group with two of the guys, she'd just leave whenever they wanted to get it on

so not only was it horrifyingly cringy on Tony and everyone's super special sexualities explained to the media

but they managed to write out the one girl because 'ewwwe, girls'

Tony Stark?!?!

FUCKING TONY STARK?!

I've heard a few definitions of Demisexual, ant LITERALLY NONE OF THEM FIT WITH ANY VERSION OF TONY STARK. MOTHERFUCKER.

I read one recently where Dean went on a tangent about that and I couldn't stop laughing. It was hysterical.
