The only supportive superhero wife (who wasn't a superhero herself) I can think of is Frozone's wife from The Incredibles.

Frozone's wife apparently has fire powers according to some behind-the-scenes talk with the movie's staff.

Oh! I didn't know/recall this, thanks!

Then I guess the only other place I can think of where I've ever seen supportive non-superhero spouses (granted, I don't read many mainstream comics, so there might be more) is in Grace Randolph's Supurbia.

...Is she though? It came across to me like she felt that he was using superheroing as an excuse to leave the house. I think I'm the only person who finds her shrill and doesn't find that joke funny.

Aw, I must be dis-remembering the movie then. Bah.

Well, bah.

(I suppose I recalled it that way since she seems more to be grousing about him dashing out on their date night than than opposed to him superheroing in general. Though I suppose packing his suit away... wasn't the setup that he hadn't suited up as Frozone in a while?)

(It's been ages since I saw this.)

(But yeah, I think Nagging Wife ran out of comedy steam in the 1800s.)
