It must be nice having the money to go out and buy £20 dvd's with maybe 4 episodes of a 50 episode anime all the time.

Some of us don't have that much money, forgive us for not wanting to miss out on something we enjoy because of that XP

I just hate dubs. If there's not a sub, and the dub is all there is, and the original Japanese is hugely expensive (as all their media are) and hard to find, I'd rather d/l the show. Especially since I understand the Japanese.

Well most dvd releases in English will have a Japanese language option, for me the problem is I really don't have the money to spend on them as much as I may want to support the industry.

Yeah, that's another thing- some animes I just refuse to buy, because I refuse to support the people making DVDs with three episodes on them for $24. Not all of them are that bad, but the ones that are, I'd much rather illegally download than buy. I'd much rather spit on the face of whoever came up with that shitty idea than buy, in fact. XD

I don't know what the companies are thinking, I don't want to spend around £180 or whatever to get my favourite series on dvd, its extortionate.

Let me guess, you'll go out and steal a car if you don't have the money? But that's okay, because everyone needs a car, and who has thousands of dollars to spend on something anyway, right?

Same thing.

And hey, don't get me wrong. I download anime too sometimes, and even movies. But at least I don't use illogical excuses for my behavior.
