101. That happens to me all the time, too. I use phrases like "OTP" or "I ship it" and I always have to remember, wait, they have no idea what I'm talking about. My closest friends have learned fandom-talk, but every once in a while it'll slip out to an outsider and I get that weird look directed at me...bah. They don't know what they're missing. XD

Okay, yeah, you might want to specify that by saying something like "my friends and I" or something, 'cause my first thought was that you were speaking for all non-black people who watch the show, and I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't the only one who made that leap.
