How can you possibly watch the entire show front-to-back and not even once quirk a brow at how close Sam and Dean are to each other?

Also, oblivious-to-fandom = very, very sad

Because people can be that close to each other and not have it be sexual.

I wasn't aware some people saw it that way either until I came into fandom, and under the special circumstances of that show, I could see it potentially happening, but then incest is being shipped within just about every fandom, so... *shrug*

Yeah, it's kinda out-of-hand in a lot of other fandoms. As for Wincest, I actually had the idea beaten into me by a couple of friends before I even saw the damn show -- so now it's hard for me to not see the awkward tension. Damn them! *shakes fist*

I'm trying to un-see it, honestly. It's not working. XD

Yeah, I guess you're right. I care too much what other people think. I'll have to keep track of that. (totally not sarcastic, I think you just helped me out)

I don't like incest, really. I can't stand it in any other fandom at all ever. Wincest to me isn't about sex, it's more of this strange, uncharted level of love that's way above just physical or familial. There's not a name for it that I know of, but it's not unlike lovers. Incest just comes closest to being synonymous, but not quite. I actually think the idea of Sam or Dean lusting after the other is ridiculous.

I didn't see the wincest until people talked about it online. I still don't ship them though. But my parents noticed it and I lol'd.
