Apparently, it seems like this Evie will be some sort of a successful writer, and just 'wrote' the two books on Mummies (as in, the two previous movies are just fantasies). But whatever, I don't care how they're trying to justify this, Rachel Weisz will always be Evie no one can replace her.

XD Yes, totally. If nothing else, Jonathan will make up for this shitty movie for me, hands down. Unless he's going to have a very minor role or something, in which case I'll be seriously pissed off. >/

WHAA? Oh my god, that will make me angry. If that's the case, how come she's the only one to look different? That's not fair...

Agreed! I hope he's not a minor role - I don't think he will be...the writers probably know how his comic relief is a major reason the movies are so successful....

Well, I'm not sure if it's true or not, but that's what I heard, so... Yeah, I'm very pissed off about it as well. ):

Well, he probably won't be a minor role. Or at least I hope so. I mean, there has to be loads of him or this just isn't The Mummy. Also, I want a love interest for him. Just because that will get him more screen time and even though I probably won't like the woman. :D;;

Ah - I dunno about finding him a love interest...they tried doing that at the end of National Treasure II and I got all irriated. I kinda hate female characters, though, so...I suppose that's why. :x

Yes, probably. But seriously, if you ask me the entire movie will be bad enough even without Jonathan and a possible love interest for him. But judging by the trailer, there won't be a love interest, so no need to worry. ;D

Yeah, if you think objectively, none of The Mummy movies is Oscar material, and yet they're both one of those movies I can watch a million times and never get tired of because they're just that awesome. ♥

I'm guessing this movie will be the same although I am pretty pissy about the recasting for Evie. But hey, as long as Jonathan is there this movie is worth seeing to me. :D

Haha, I think I've said that exact same thing! If they had recasted Johnathan, I probably wouldn't have the slightest interest to see it. :x

ZOMGYES! That's my favourite part, too. (Finding the way a guy interacts with a kid attractive is one of the few ways I am stereotypically a girl. XD)

Wasn't it fabulous? Was it just me or was Jonathan the only one who was treating Alex as an equal--the rest were just sort of... Well, not treating him as an equal.

Yeah, I think that's what was so sweet about it. Everyone else saw him and was like "ZOMG HE'S JUST A KID," but Jonathan just saw someone who would listen to what he had to say for once. XD;
