See, this person gets it! Much better than the alpha male, dom Tom/Loki stuff fandom seems to prefer.

Not to kinkshame people, they can do what they want. But Dom!Tom and his characters as uber doms, is so prevalent that I blink in shock when I see a het story where he/one of his characters isn't (it's not the same in slash for some reason). And I have this dommy character, who I suddenly realized Hiddles is a perfect fancast for, and ebcause of the above trend, I went "ugghghh, I'm never living this down".

In the MCU there was a fairly prolific Blackfrost writer a few years ago who often had Nat as the dominant one, which yeah I remember feeling was unusual. With Loki I prefer power struggles or him meeting his match. I'm not really into OFC pairings in general but he seems to attract a lot of writers who write it as basically dominance veering into abuse, which I'm also not into.
