I honestly don't even see how Death Note can even be compared to Monster. Psssh.

Okay, I'm just kidding, but really. I can't make any comparisons between the two. It's puzzling me now.

I wouldn't know since I've yet to see Monster, that's just what I keep seeing around.

I take it that Monster is awesome then?

Oh, it's been my favourite since I was a freshman in high school, and I'm going to be a freshman in college at the start of this school year. I got into it and Death Note at about the same time, but that obsession didn't even last until my sophomore year.

It's apparently been licensed, so you can't watch the anime on Crunchyroll anymore like I would have suggested, but the manga is almost entirely released in English (volume 16 of 18 is coming out next month), and it's really very good.

*ahem* Excessive pimpage = over. Excuse me.

Licensed is good though and I can probably find the eps somewhere on the net and I may pick up the manga next time I'm near a bookstore. But I live at least an hour and a half from anywhere that sells manga.

Oh, no! D: I'm so sorry. That's what I'm going to have to deal with when I go to college. I've been picking up on average fifteen manga a week since I found out.

Actually my college is 45ish minutes away from where I can buy books, home is an hour and a half.

Watched ep 1. Highly promising. I'll probably be hooked by ep 3. :)

It's not like I think they're the best books ever or anything but they're not awful like everyone here seems to think. They're just fun. And it has developed characters, not just Edward-type ones.
