(Anonymous) 2008-07-23 09:52 pm (UTC)(link)We (me and some other Pasdarfen) downloaded Mysterious Ways off the Internet and tried to watch it at my house. It was harder to watch than the movie where he played the rapist (we just laughed at that--Adrian can't convince anyone he's a rapist except the people who mix up Jim Profit and Lucius Malfoy). By the time he was telling the girl who gave people luck when they touched her that she didn't have any friends because she didn't appreciate the people who wanted to help her we were ready to boil him alive. She didn't have anyone who wanted to help her, just a lot of people who wanted to help themselves TO her, including him--the only difference was that instead of trying to grab a quick handful of her he wanted to study her like a bug under a microscope.
DO NOT WANT.
At least when Jim Profit fucks you over the back of a desk he doesn't expect you to appreciate his "help".

The point that I gave up at was the one where the woman wanted absolutely nothing to do with her father for very good reasons - and yet Declan shoved them together anyway. Sorry, but there would have been major violence happening to anyone who tried that with me.
