115 - I didn't cry like a baby but I certainly, ahem, had something in my eye.

127 - I'm not saying you're racist. Just snobbish. You may want to step away from the generic mainstream anime/manga and y'know, realize that it's not a goddamn style. They don't all look the same. Not all anime has big eyes/lotsa hair/slender bodies/etc., (Just take a look at, say, Kemonozume) and this goes double for manga which is much more versatile in style than manga.

130 - "CLAMP was the original Ouran"? Way to misunderstand the whole point of the show... (y'know, parody of shoujo romance manga clichés and all that? CLAMP included.)

139 - Of course the drama changed so many things about the original setting that the characters are not really the same as in the anime/manga...

159 - Yes, dammit.

I don't agree with the OP, but I rather think Ouran is failing in the parody department not that half the characters are in love with Haruhi and she is falling for Tamaki. And it started out so great, too...

I meant the anime (should've specified that). I think it managed the parody aspect wonderfully without ever slipping.

I agree, though, that the manga has been full of fail for a long time (I'd say since it turned into exactly what it was parodizing in the beginning, but even the beginning was full of failed opportunities, really.)
