Not to mention Nadia took a lot of visual inspiration from the movie of TTLUtS. Which was done by...? Oh, that's right. Disney. Who's copying who now?

Also, people have put a lot more holes (http://web.archive.org/web/20070707062627/http://utd500.utdallas.edu/~hairston/atlantis.html) into the theory of ripoff much better (http://www.animeanonymous.com/nva.shtml) than I ever could.

Oh, I remember that first site! Back when it was starting. And you're right, I had totally forgotten the TTLUtS connection.

Besides, at least, when Disney does adapt a classic, they accept it, and there are very few people who don't know that those stories are not Disney originals but Disney's adaptions.

You'd never believe how many fans I've met that swear up and down that Gankoutsou (Or however it's spelled) is a Gonzo Original, or that somehow, the series named "Animated Classics" with stories like Heidi, Remi and Diary of a boy are japanese originals.
