Nadia does not equal Atlantis. Seriously. Did you watch the two of them? They definitely have similar character designs, I'm not even going to pretend, but they have completely different intents and purposes. Saying that they're the same just makes you look like an idiot.

P.S. That argument got old 6 years ago. We've heard it before, and guess what: no one cares anymore.

They can't even claim similar character designs. Kida and Nadia? You mean, the fact that Kida's a full grown woman with dark skin and no other parallel physical characteristics to Nadia? Similar how? Especially since Cree Summer was her VA. Also, the Disney Atlantean look =/= Nadia and Neo. Like, at ALL. So, for Milo and Jean... Big glasses are rather standard fair to donate smart characters *points to your icon*. And Milo looks a heckuva lot like Michael J Fox. And bowties were kinda standard fair for men his age in Milo's time. People could really stand to learn some basic history.

Honestly, I'll have to disagree with you on the idea of Milo and Jean not being similar. Their character designs are exceptionally similar, I cannot deny that for a second. I do agree with you about Nadia vs. Kida, but I was trying to be a little generous.

There's also the fact that none of the animators or character designers (like John Pomeroy, who was the head designer for Milo) were anime fans. And Nadia was pretty obscure when Atlantis was started, so it's really doubtful a team that weren't even casual anime fans would know of something that people at the time were only able to get by the way of glitchy fansubs.. While they WERE anime fans in the animation studio in Disney (like Glen Keane), none of them appeared to be in the Atlantis animation staff. So really, fans are pretty much grasping at straws here.

Sorry, sorry! Understood. ^_^; Honestly, I don't mind the TLK/Kimba argument so much, because, WELL. But the Atlantis/Nadia always raises my heckles because I've actually seen both, and it just doesn't add up. It also doesn't help that Nadia was mediocre at best, and people claiming the more entertaining of the two being a ripoff makes my eyes involuntarily roll.

Haha, don't worry about it! I can totally relate, hence my original comment. Atlantis is one of my favourite Disney movies, so believe me I understand. Though I still say I enjoyed Nadia :p Haha.
