(Also am I the only one unhappy with the Major's lips in that shot? XD)
If you're saying all shoujo looks alike... yeah, okay, there are a lot of similarities there. A lot of it does look very, very, very, very similar, I'll give you that. And all chibis kinda look similar. Buuuut that's about the limit of it, sorry.

143. I was kind of weirded out by her eyes at first, but now I think they're strangely really pretty. Then again, I love odd character designs, so. XD
159. Monster is amazing, YES. ♥ And I like it more than Death Note, definitely. But it's... not really the same series, and it shouldn't be. Plus, I'm a little bit- or actually a lot- "wtf" over your use of the term "real" manga. I'm sorry, but no matter how much you like those three better, Death Note is still a real manga. :/

Kimba I can see, Nadia I don't know, I don't think anyone including Disney is denying Beauty and the Beast, I can get behind your top example as to Milo and them but your second one is sort of reaching. I don't know who you know, but Disney is not epically original, or wasn't for a long time (some of their stuff is more than others, like Emperor's New Groove and Lilo & Stitch). Almost ALL of Disney's original movies were based on fairy tales, for God's sake, who out there is insisting that everything Disney's done is totally original? It's not bad if they aren't, sheesh.
169. Since they are REALLY, REALLY GOOD. XD I don't know that one, but man, if I find a good writer, whether of original things or fanfiction, I get chills and thrills and love them forever. ♥ Don't be ashamed!
173. I sorta agree with this! I can get comparing Light's methods/beliefs loosely to Hitler's, though. In the end, he was trying to make a new world order, with himself in charge, based on killing those he decided deserved to die. Light wasn't totally killing people for the lulz, though he was way closer to doing so than Hitler; alternatively, Light was at least making an effort, if a very very vague one, to kill off "criminals" (and those who wanted to bring him down, but um, with his personality, duh XD), whereas Hitler was committing genocide for much less logical (to us) reasons.
Totally seconding your footnote, though. Dayam. ;;
174. Wow. This seems pretty dumb. Um, don't use colorized icons, then? We'll just realize that the manga has a canonical color scheme and that the reason it's in black and white is that it would take too much time and money to do it in color, therefore, us having manga icons in color is just for the sake of, oh, having pretty icons. Which is why most of us have icons. XD;
179. Oh noes! Someone is tainting the pure love of fictional characters! Such horrible people they are! Wtf, let them do what they like and ignore them. Doesn't make them a "bad fan," just means they enjoy something you don't.
