105, 153: Haha, I just ranted about this the other day. I get the feeling that everyone on metafandom just misses being in Lit class so much that they have to apply all the stuff they learned there to everything in fandom. Which is sad, because I feel the same way sometimes. XD

149: I get that way with my fic and entering new fandom. :( I second guess myself way more than I should. Sigh.

Oh I do, but there are times when I go into overanalysis mode and end up ruining the entire fandom for myself. XD That's never fun.

XD So very true. Being out of school for just a few months already has me wistful for that kind of interaction with a text. I can't imagine what it's like after you graduate. Analyzing fandom just tends to ruin it for me, so I've learned to stay away.

I was going to reply in general in some way, stating that if that's the way people are having fun, no one really has a good reason to tell them to stop doing it, any more than they have a reason to tell others to stop using fandom for escapism because it's shallow and stupid...

But then you got the Avenue Q songs stuck in my head. Sob congratulations you. XD
