Seriously though... Anime is a method of story telling just like live action, clay animation, computer animation, etc. It's not one specific series or genre. Other than the slight excess of Death Note secrets, there's quite a good deal of variety in the subjects of the anime secrets.

Yeah, I can see how the replies below are ignoring the commenter.

Trolling is saying shit just to get a backlash response, whether you believe it or not. Wiki says:

An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial and usually irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.

If you're not a troll, then all the better, that means we get to laugh and point at someone who's genuinely getting their panties in a twist over a whole genre/medium rather than just roll our eyes at a troll.

Even if you are a troll, I'm sure there are a good number of people that agree with your opinion seriously. The whole subject can be confusing to some people that have very limited knowledge of anime, and this gave me a great opportunity to expand on that idea. :)

As much as I agree on thee whole "you can't lump anime into one big genre" thing, I have to disagree on the variety issue. This is f!s. 90% of the anime secrets (and the secrets as a whole) are either "I ship it" or "I'd hit it". Not really much variety. XD It's a good thing the few different ones are some real gems!

I was more referring to the range of titles rather than content (we got everything from YYH to Utena to Digmon today alone), but yeah, most secrets in general are the "I ship it" or "I'd hit it." :D There's good and bad secrets in every form of fandom. :)
