perhaps what they are agreeing with is not the secret itself but the sentiment. a lot of us are tired of having fun threads dragged into a political dissertation of the breakdown of minorities by socio-econonmic impact based on the interpretation of an episode.

sometimes we just like to watch a show and get really tired of being told "OMG RACIST AND IF YOU DON'T SEE HOW THE WRITERS OF THE SHOW ARE ABUSING THE WHITE PRIVLEDGE THEN YOU ARE A STUPID FUCKER WHO DOESN'T CARE ABOUT REAL LIFE EVENTS"

considering this happened to me when I was squeeing about an episode and said nothing that would trigger it...yeah, there was a lot of 'whuuuu?' in how I got called to task for 'exercising my white privledge by ignoring the issues'.

I was just gushing over a particular scene in an episode about someone's jeans. couldn't for the life of me, figure out how that made me a racist.

Anyone who would post agreeing with that secret and NOT making it clear that they don't agree with the secret poster's outright prejudiced language is asking to get flamed.

If they had said "all those nigger lovers should shut up" would people still agree with it? What they wrote is 1 shade away from saying that.
