I was gutted about it leaving the BBC, and loosing Mel, Sue, and Mary, but I’ve mainly come to terms with it. (Can’t stand Prue though)

What I can’t get over is that it means we’ll never get anymore of these two shows.

Particularly this one. No more Keith getting choked up and crying over the beauty of piece.

I loved the sewing show too. I tried watching the new bake off but without the women it's just not the same. I have always been a huge fan of Sue even before the Bake Off started. I really hope she and Giles do a show for Harry's wedding.

Prue is the worst part of the new GBBO. I really dislike the way she doesn't bother to be diplomatic about people's mistakes,it feels very out of character for the show. :(

Try The Big Painting Challenge, maybe? It's like GBBO with art. There are great mentors and though one of the judges is an arse, there are two others who are lovely.

I'm pretty sure Sewing Bee is getting another season.

I am so sad about the Throwdown show... I loved it and it rekindled my interest in pottery (to the point I am seriously planning on taking a wheel throwing course once I have time for it). And seeing the judge tearing up about pieces he thought were pretty was so adorable.

I live about 5 minutes walk from where they filmed it - nice to see my town getting recognition for something other than the BNP!
