What is the one makeup item you can't do without? For that item, what are your favorite brands?

Does face lotion count? Because I literally can't function unless I use face lotion twice in the morning.

I was thinking more cosmetics, but I love me some moisturizer, too. What kind do you use?

Mascara and lip-balm(if that counts) are the only sorts of make-up I wear. Mostly because I am allergic to pretty much every single foundation I have ever tried so I don't bother with it, that and I've never felt the need to wear it(it does look fun to play with though).

Sometimes I wanna get some pretty lip-gloss though because I think those look nice. But I always forget and just stick with my lip-balm.

Oh as far as brands go I've been liking the L'Oreal: Lash Paradise for mascara, it actually makes my almost non-existent lashes look nice.

L'Oreal does make excellent mascara.

Maybe eyeliner? I feel like if I had to only wear one makeup item, it'd be that. I don't wear it really crazy or bold, but I think it does make my eyes look nicer since my lashes are light-colored and not very thick. I think it helps more than mascara.

Concealer. No favorite brand. But i have terrible skin that still breaks out. So concealer is a must even if I don't wear anything else.

Concealer. I use MAC Prolongwear. I have acne scars (hyperpigmentation and some icepick scars), and am prone to hormonal adult acne, and it is quite high coverage. But it's not stiff like cream/pot concealers and also works really well under my eyes to cover dark circles. It's a bit expensive, but one tube has lasted me around 18 months so far and I'm only halfway through, even though I use it 3-4x/week.

I also really love Maybelline's Full n Soft mascara (regular version usually, and the waterproof version for the summer) because I like a natural lash look and neither version makes my lashes stiff or crunchy. It makes my straight and short lashes look very, well, full and soft!
