There was a comedian, I forget who, who talked about how his mother laughed so hard at a Cosby routine that she felt like she "would never cry again".

Well, that's ruined now.

Ugh, same. I remember when I was a kid, we had a VHS tape that had both the Elvis Presley movie 'Girl Happy' (my mom liked that film) and this Bill Cosby routine recorded onto it. And anytime we watched that tape, I'd always be impatient for 'Girl Happy' to end so I could watch Bill Cosby. And my family would quote the routine and everything.

Yeah. It sucks, for sure.

Watching his stand up was one of the few times I ever saw my parents laugh together. So many nice childhood memories, tainted. I feel you.

I was volunteering yesterday sorting kids book and we came across one with his name on it in a present by way and everyone's first instinct was to toss it, but we were just volunteering so I asked and yeah they are tossing all of them.

I had loved his routines so much from my childhood that I found them & played them for my kids. They are ruined for multiple generations.

Thank for making this secret, because it's how I feel. Glad he got caught, glad he went to trial, glad he was found guilty, so very sorry for all the women he hurt.
